Founders are often told to keep their personal and professional lives separate.
But I canβt tell my founder story without telling the truth:
On September 11th, I was assaulted and nearly killed by someone I trusted.
I walked away bruised, shaken β but alive. And with even greater clarity about why I built Ladyβs Lady and my other apps.
Because this isnβt just about tech.
Itβs about survival.
Itβs about building tools that help people save themselves when the world feels impossible.
Iβve built through grief, loss, betrayal, and now violence. And Iβm still standing. Still building. Still committed to emotional intelligence technology that gives people clarity, safety, and resilience when they need it most.
I donβt share this for pity. I share it because silence protects the wrong people. And because every founderβs story is written not just in code and pitch decks, but in the battles theyβve had to fight to keep going.
This is mine.
And itβs why I wonβt stop.
