Tomorrow is my birthday. This year, I decided to give myself a special and probably the most meaningful gift: I left Ukraine. 💔
Airstrikes on my city have become significantly more intense lately, hitting much closer to my home. The prospect of staying in Ukraine for the winter terrifies me. If the winter is cold and the strikes on the energy infrastructure are even harsher than last year—which is where things seem to be heading right now—surviving in an apartment will be nearly impossible.
I hope I'm wrong and everything turns out fine. I hope I can return home in the near future, but I'm mentally preparing myself for the fact that I won't be back for at least the next six months.

Last night, more than 40 rockets were fired at my city within the span of 30 minutes. It was like hell—truly terrifying. I decided to leave the city for a few days. To my Ukrainian friends: stay safe 🙏
